Hola! Here I come Barcelona!

オラ！バルセローナ！！

Spring has come to Yuka's hood, Brooklyn, and so has Barcelona! More like, I felt a scent of Summer!
ブルックリンには春が来たみたいだけど、ここはもう夏のにおいがしたよ。

Weather has been nice with blue sky but a little chilly. Stupid Mariko, only brought super summer clothes. So yes what's Spain got? Zara!!! There is Zara in every block and loving it. Woohoo !! (It is like Starbucks every block in Seattle )

それでも恋するバルセロナというけれどもやっぱりこの街は愛に溢れれいた。

ガウディーの愛と彼の建築物が素晴らしかった！

お天気はよかったのだけど、気合い入れすぎて超夏服しか持ってこなかったのでスペインと言えば、ザラでしょ！

Ok I'm fully equipped with ZARA clothes and go to cool sightseeing places.

全身ZARAで調達！　街を色々まわってみたいと思いまーす！

For my first time here, Everything about Barcelona is a piece of Antonio Gaudi's personality.  His architectures of light and forms inspired by nature, the whole city is delighted with his artisan spirits. His close attention to nature is reflected to every single aspect of his works - organic shapes of architecture, unique metalworks of grids, and use of colors in marine or mountain themes. And he did it over 100 years ago. This is just breathtaking.

今回初めてバルセロナに訪れての印象はこの街はガウディーの建築によってできているということ！植物や生物など自然界に存在しているすべてにインスパイアされ、それによって造り出されたユニークなフォームや光の取り入れ方、どこを見てもオリジナリティー溢れている。ガウディーの職人魂を有機的な線の使い方であったり、植物の蔦に見立てた格子など、ひとつひとつのエレメントから感じる事ができる。

それを１００年以上前に設計、完成させているなんて本当に素晴らしいという表現だけでは言い表せられない。

Inside of Sagrada Familia - サグラダファミリア教会の内部

This is Casa Batlló, A house which Gaudi designed for a bourgeoise named Mr. Batlló inspired by marine elements.

カサ•バトリョ。海洋のエレメントにインスパイアされたもの。貴族のバトリョ氏の邸宅を設計した。

Besides Gaudi, I was so into walking around Gothic area from Picasso museum to Les Rambles avenue. Going into little alleys finding little shops, when tired, go into bar getting wines and walked around again. It was just like a maze and I was just loving this feeling.

ガウディー建築以外にもバルセロナには素敵がいっぱい詰まっている。

特に私のお気に入りのエリアは街の中心街、ピカソ美術館一体のゴシック地区と呼ばれる所。小さいショップが並んでいてとてもおしゃれで迷路みたいなの。

Here are what I saw and loved and ate in the little alleys...

Cool graffiti painted doors - かっこいいグラフィティーの扉 

Delicious pinchos with wines - おいしいピンチョスとワインで一休み

A spontaneously lively tree in small square in the alleys, written "If you are walking and you see a tree, it is only then you have not really seen a tree"

Cool!

In this area, I could sense people living with time ticking slowly, having siesta hearing a little sound of traffic... I love the whole atmosphere of this.

なんかここでは時間がゆっくり流れていて遠くでトラッフィックの音とかと共にみんなシエスタしてそう。こんな雰囲気、いいよね。

Oh, and don't forget about Loewe! The original store is in Madrid but love this decorative and sophisticated building - feel dignity. 

I stopped by the Gallarie Loewe. Here, they exhibited the history of the brand and hardware tools for handbags.

あと、ロエベ！やっぱりスペインと言ったらロエベだよね。本店はマドリッドにあるけど、こちらの店舗もやはり重厚感ただよって素晴らしい。

ロエベギャラリーです。ここではロエベの歴史や、バック作りに使う道具などを展示してあってとても見応えのあるものでした。

Barcelona is a mix of chaos, love, silence in alleys and a love of Gaudi - this is what I saw and felt.

バルセロナは静寂と雑踏とガウディーの愛が混ざっている、そんな街でした。

I would definitely come back here again in future - with someone special!!!
